Who Was Vladimir Lenin?

     Vladimir Ilyich Ulianov, better known as Lenin (Simbirsk, April 22, 1870 - Gorki, January 21, 1924), was a communist revolutionary, politician and Russian political theorist who served as head of government for Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 until his death.
